Skin Resurfacing Little Rock
As you age, your skin ages with you. The signs of aging can be accelerated as a result of sun exposure, heredity, poor nutrition, alcohol consumption, and smoking.
Signs of aging include wrinkled or sun-damaged skin, vertical wrinkles around your mouth, lines around your eyes or crows feet, wrinkling along your upper eyelids, brown spots, or blotchy skin coloring.
Aging skin can be treated by laser skin resurfacing. Resurfacing can be performed as light, medium, or deep resurfacing. Skin care products, glycolic peels, and microdermabrasion are examples of light resurfacing techniques. TCA peels such as the Obagi® Blue Peel™ are medium depth. Whereas dermabrasion, phenol peels, and laser resurfacing are considered deep resurfacing methods.
As the depth of resurfacing increases: more wrinkles are eliminated, the longer the recovery, the greater the risk, the more the cost, and the more dramatic the result.
Skin resurfacing eliminates wrinkles and other undesirable signs of aging, by exfoliating the surface of your skin while restoring some of the skins elasticity.
Skin resurfacing is an outpatient procedure. Laser skin resurfacing produces less bleeding, bruising and post-operative discomfort than other methods of deep skin resurfacing.
